What is The Sassy Club?

The Sassy Club is a social network that allows females to live an empowered life while you connect with others and find your confidence through the Lord. We encourage transparency, kindness, and confidence in every stage of life, while building relationships. The Sassy Club is where people go to learn, relate and do life together. Whether you are moving to a new city, hoping to find life long friends, or looking for other women to network with,
The Sassy Club is for you.

Our History

2) The Invention of The Sassy Club

As people started to share their struggles, the personal messages started to pour in. Dani wanted to discover a way to connect these women with each other. A Facebook group was the best way to do that: it was named The Sassy Club.

4) Organizing The Movement

The Sassy club was more than the Facebook group. There were over 60+ local chapters across the world. In late 2018, the smartest and savviest sassy mamas came together to help ask and answer the right questions on what was next for The Sassy Club. The vision was captured and work began on the next steps.

1) The Why

Dani started to open up online: from struggles in her friendships to anxiety. She let people know about her issues and people would open up about theirs. She found her online community of the sisters she never had.

3) The Start of a Movement

The Sassy club became a movement. It grew from 500 to over 10,000 women in less than a month. Women would join and people would open up about their lives. The conversations were transparent and the relationships that were formed were authentic and real.

5) This is The Sassy Club

Because every club needs a clubhouse, The Sassy club launched their version 1.0 of the platform in January 2019. The vision became crystal clear after months of feedback and discussion. The Sassy Club is a members-only social network platform that is connecting women to each other to find their #sassyside in transparent and authentic community. It’s a culture. It’s a movement. Not everyone is the same but we are all united by the same desire to look past our imperfections and still feel like a Hot Sassy Mama.

Megan Freeman

I’m Megan and have the privilege to serve as The Sassy Clubs Operations Director. I am from Great Falls, Virginia but have adopted Dallas as my home since 2015. I am blessed to be married to my favorite person and we have 3 rambunctious fur babies! I graduated Sweet Briar College with a BS degree in Environmental Science but have been working in Project management since graduation. I am passionate Jesus, anything outdoors, and love jelly donuts. I am so excited to see God work through the Sassy Club and bring real authentic community to all you hot sassy mamas out there.

Shea Bryant

I’m Shea and am extremely blessed to be The Community Director. I am a wifey to my favorite human, Holden and we are very proud parents to our goldendoodle pup, Oakley! So excited to be serving y’all as it combines my passion for women, with my love for Jesus and seeing His name glorified through community. In a former life, I worked in the Church and was an art student at South Dakota State University. I am giddy about bringing realness, community and depth to you sassy mamas.

Hannah Mitteness

I’m Hannah and I have the privilege of serving as The Digital Community Coordinator. I graduated from Texas Tech University (WRECK EM!) with a BA in Social Work and have worked for various non-profit organizations since then. In 2018, my prom date became my husband and we have loved living in the Dallas area ever since. Most days you can find me asking for an extra side of ranch dressing or rearranging my living room. The opportunity to love Jesus alongside my sassy sisters is a blessing and dream come true. I can’t wait to see what God does to make The Sassy Club community more than we could’ve ever imagined.

Claudia Alvarez

I’m Claudia and I am the Creative Coordinator for The Sassy Club. I was born and raised in Mexico but moved to Texas when I was nine years old and have been living here ever since. I’ve always loved art and creating things that made others smile which lead me to pursue a graphic design and marketing major at the University of North Texas. When I’m not doing design you can usually find me at a thai restaurant, a concert, or at home watching the office. I’m so excited to be part of this community and to have the opportunity to use my skills to help The Sassy Club flourish and produce content that will make all you sassy gals feel empowered and connected.

Claire Desantis

I’m Claire and am thrilled to be The Sassy Clubs Content Coordinator. I graduated in May 2018 with a BFA in Fashion Communication from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri but right now, I am living in England. I am all about Jesus, have an unhealthy obsession with Stranger Things and stargazing all year round. The Sassy Club allows me to empower women in their God-given identities through real, applicable content, all while being a part of the best sisterhood out there! I’m so thankful for this family and can’t wait to see it continue to grow.

Tiffany Nguyen

I’m Tiffany and I am The Sassy Club’s copywriter. I’m currently a senior at the Missouri School of Journalism studying Strategic Communication. I have an addiction to Starbucks iced coffee, broadway show tunes, Young Adult fiction novels, and target home decor. I’m here to bring the Sassy Club to life through words. As a journalism school student I found this to be the perfect fit. The Sassy Club brings women an opportunity to have fulfilling friendships with other women and I’m so happy to be a part of this growing community.
